2018 Arkansas Environmental Policy Summit Highlights

Audubon Arkansas hosted the 3rd Annual Environmental Policy Summit on October 26. Our event partners were the Arkansas Public Policy Panel and Sierra Club of Arkansas.

The Summit provided attendees with the opportunity to hear from leading experts on the current state of environmental issues. The keynote speaker, former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, spoke about progressive energy policy. Sarah Greenberger, National Audubon Society's Senior Vice President for Conservation Policy, described Audubon's bird-focused lens on policy issues. Panel discussions revolved around energy efficiency, clean energy, Buffalo National River protection, and emerging environmental issues such as dicamba.

Thank you to all of the speakers, panelists, moderators, volunteers and attendees who helped make the event a success!
