Volunteer tests water clarity on Secchi Day at Beaver Lake.

The Northwest Arkansas Field Office conducts ground-breaking work in restoration and protection of watersheds and other habitats important to birds and other wildlife, citizen involvement in science and habitat protection, environmental education for young people, and public outreach and education. The field office along with partners produces watershed maps of Northwest Arkansas, hosts an annual Secchi Day on Beaver Lake, and manages Wilson Springs, a 121-acre conservation trust.
